Stranded II is an adventure game in which you need to survive on an island. After a storm that destroyed your boat, you reach a desert island. In order to keep yourself alive, you must gather food, and to do that, you must build your own tools and weapons, hunt some animals to eat and catch others to ride. After that, you can construct buildings (to feel more comfortable) and find treasures.
The game will show you a bar that indicates your actual state. You must keep an eye on your health, hunger, thirst, and tiredness indicators, so that you can perform actions that help you keep them into their normal values. If some of these indicators reach the maximum, you will begin to lose health. When your health is gone, you die.
During the game, you will find items that can be later exchanged for other characters’ items that you do not have. You will keep the collected things into your sack, things like wheat seeds, leaves, mushrooms, and lots of other items that will help you to survive. The game will show you hints that will provide you with information on how to find some needed items, and how to use them.
In the developer’s page, they offer a patch that it is supposedly needed when running the game under Windows Vista or Seven. At least under the latter, I did not have to use this patch.
